TAMMARA HARVIN

Chief Information Officer

Ms. Tammara Harvin is the Chief Information Officer for Pluribus Inc.  She has over nineteen (19) years of government service. She started her government career in 1995 at the Environmental Protection Agency as an executive assistant for five years and later joined the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in 2010. At NGA, she held multiple leadership positions in the areas of Cybersecurity, Program Management, and Acquisition SME. Ms. Harvin excelled and delivered groundbreaking technologies that directly enabled the NGA mission and enhanced service provisioning across the workforce. Her dedication to leadership, excellence, and goal-oriented ambition have established her as a key contributor to the IC and DoD missions.

 

As an NGA civilian and a US Navy reservist, she has broadened her leadership acumen and has proven her commitment to mission and overall dedication to the defense of our nation. Between 2017 and 2020, Ms. Harvin worked outside NGA in a career broadening joint duty assignment as a Division Chief for the IC DTE Joint Program Office and later as the IT Security Domain Manager for the US Intelligence Community’s Chief Information Officer, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).  

 

Tammara started her military experience with the U.S. Air Force reserves and is currently in the U.S. Navy Reserves as an Information Professional Officer Leading Information Technology, Communication, and Space missions in direct support to U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/ U.S. TENTH Fleet. 

 

Ms. Harvin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters Degree in Network Security. She specializes in the areas of Cybersecurity, IT Strategic Planning, Team Leadership, Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Acquisition Lifecycle Management. 

 

Tammara is active in her local church’s Service Ministries, providing support to the surrounding communities.  In her spare time, Ms. Harvin reads to stay current with events and technologies.
